What is the Phone Number Format in Zimbabwe?

Most phone numbers in Zimbabwe are written in the following formats:
Prefix: long distance or international -------------------------------------- | Carrier or area code | -------------------- | | Subscriber number | | ----------------- v v v 0 AA SSS SSSS - Local format 0 AAA SSS SSSS - Local format +263 AA SSS SSSS - International format +263 AAA SSS SSSS - International format
Most telephone numbers in Zimbabwe have 9, 10 digits and are written in the format of "AA SSS SSSS", "AAA SSS SSSS". Here are some examples: 77 210 1287; 83 284 4428; 867 701 1000; 292 723 5418;.
When dialing locally inside Zimbabwe, the long distance prefix of "0" is required. So the format becomes "0 AA SSS SSSS", "0 AAA SSS SSSS".
When dialing from outside of Zimbabwe, the international dial-in prefix "+263" is required. So the format becomes "+263 AA SSS SSSS", "+263 AAA SSS SSSS".
When dialing from Zimbabwe to other countries, the international dail-out prefix "+" or "00" required.
