Most telephone numbers in Uzbekistan have 9 digits and are written in the format of "AA SSS SSSS". Here are some examples: 78 140 0200; 71 238 8449.
When dialing locally inside Uzbekistan, the long distance prefix of "0" is required. So the format becomes "0 AA SSS SSSS".
When dialing from outside of Uzbekistan, the international dial-in prefix "+998" is required. So the format becomes "+998 AA SSS SSSS".
When dialing from Uzbekistan to other countries, the international dail-out prefix "+" or "00" required.
