Most phone numbers in Angola are written in the following formats:

Most telephone numbers in Angola have 9 digits and are written in the format of "AAA SSS SSS". Here are some examples: 442 352 387; 222 335 936.

When dialing locally inside Angola, dial the phone number directly as "AAA SSS SSS". Long distance prefix is not needed.

When dialing from outside of Angola, the international dial-in prefix "+244" is required. So the format becomes "+244 AAA SSS SSS".

When dialing from Angola to other countries, the international dail-out prefix "+" or "00" required.
