Most phone numbers in Honduras are written in the following formats:

Most telephone numbers in Honduras have 8 digits and are written in the format of "SSSS SSSS". Here are some examples: 2668 3260; 2234 2402.

When dialing locally inside Honduras, dial the phone number directly as "SSSS SSSS". Long distance prefix is not needed.

When dialing from outside of Honduras, the international dial-in prefix "+504" is required. So the format becomes "+504 SSSS SSSS".

When dialing from Honduras to other countries, the international dail-out prefix "+" or "00" required.
