Most phone numbers in Russia are written in the following formats:

Most telephone numbers in Russia have 10 digits and are written in the format of "AAA SSS-SS-SS". Here are some examples: 495 933-66-66; 843 267-88-07.

When dialing locally inside Russia, the long distance prefix of "8" is required. So the format becomes "8 AAA SSS-SS-SS".

When dialing from outside of Russia, the international dial-in prefix "+7" is required. So the format becomes "+7 AAA SSS-SS-SS".

When dialing from Russia to other countries, the international dail-out prefix "+" or "810" required.
