What is the Phone Number Format in Vietnam?

Most phone numbers in Vietnam are written in the following formats:

   Prefix: long distance or international

   0   AA  SSSS SSSS    - Local format
  +84  AA  SSSS SSSS    - International format

Most telephone numbers in Vietnam have 10 digits and are written in the format of "AA SSSS SSSS". Here are some examples: 24 6269 9919; 28 3823 9355.

When dialing locally inside Vietnam, the long distance prefix of "0" is required. So the format becomes "0 AA SSSS SSSS".

When dialing from outside of Vietnam, the international dial-in prefix "+84" is required. So the format becomes "+84 AA SSSS SSSS".

When dialing from Vietnam to other countries, the international dail-out prefix "+" or "00" required.
