What is the Phone Number Format in Turkey?

Most phone numbers in Turkey are written in the following formats:

   Prefix: long distance or international

   0   AAA SSS SSSS     - Local format
  +90  AAA SSS SSSS     - International format

Most telephone numbers in Turkey have 10 digits and are written in the format of "AAA SSS SSSS". Here are some examples: 212 463 3000; 541 737 8305.

When dialing locally inside Turkey, the long distance prefix of "0" is required. So the format becomes "0 AAA SSS SSSS".

When dialing from outside of Turkey, the international dial-in prefix "+90" is required. So the format becomes "+90 AAA SSS SSSS".

When dialing from Turkey to other countries, the international dail-out prefix "+" or "00" required.
