To find the model number of your Samsung Galaxy, you can:
Look at the back cover of the phone. You should see some lines of identification numbers like:
CE0168 SM-G955W FCC ID: A3LSM... IC: 649E-... Model: Samsung D820 IMEI: 3564...
Or open the Samsung Galaxy and go to "Settings > About phone" You see detailed information about your phone. For example:
My phone number : ... Model number : SM-G955W Serial number : R28K... IMEI : 3564... ...
As shown in the above example, the primary model number of this Samsung Galaxy is SM-G955W. If you search the Internet, you will find the model family is Galaxy S8 Plus.
