Lost Cellular Signal when Not on Call
Why is there no cellular signal when I am not on call? Cellular signal comes back when I start to make a call, and goes away when I end the call.
✍: FYIcenter.com
This very rare issue with the Samsung phone.
It seems to be using a kind of special battery saving mode.
So if you are making phone calls, the cellular receiver will turn off.
This is not a good mode, when the cellular receiver is turned off, no one can call you, text you, or any other messaging tools.
You can try to reboot your phone by holding down the power button and the volume down button at the same time, and select "Restart". But it may not resolve the issue.
The issue may go away by itseft.
Or the Samsung engineer may tell us how to resolve the issue.
