How to create a Bluetooth connection from my Samsung Galaxy to my Mac computer?

Here are the correct steps to create a Bluetooth connection
from your Samsung Galaxy to your Mac computer.
1. On your Mac computer, turn on Bluetooth: "System Preferences > Bluetooth > On". And set it as discoverable.
2. On your Samsung Galaxy, go to "Settings > Connections > Bluetooth". You see the Bluetooth switch.
3. Turn the "Bluetooth" switch on. Your Samsung Galaxy will do the following:
4. Tap on your Mac computer name, My Mac, if it has not been paired (connected) before. This sends a pairing request to your Mac computer. You see a message box:
Bluetooth Pairing Request Passkey: 824882 Pair with FYI Mac?
5. On your Mac computer, you see a message box:
Pairing Request from: My Galaxy
To pair with the device, make sure the number below matches
the number on that device.
If the number matches, click Pair to complete the pairing process.
If the number doesn't match, click Cancel.

6. Click "Pair" on Mac computer. This sends a pairing accepted response back to your Samsung Galaxy.
7. On your Samsung Galaxy, tap "OK" to complete the paring process. You see your Mac computer listed in the "PAIRED DEVICES" list.
Once paired (connected), apps on your Samsung Galaxy or macOS can use this connection to perform special functions, like play music from each others music library, or transfer files.
