Most telephone numbers in France have 9 digits and are written in the format of "A SS SS SS SS". Here are some examples: 1 70 36 39 50; 1 48 16 63 83.
When dialing locally inside France, the long distance prefix of "0" is required. So the format becomes "0 A SS SS SS SS".
When dialing from outside of France, the international dial-in prefix "+33" is required. So the format becomes "+33 A SS SS SS SS".
