What is the Phone Number Format in Peru?

Most phone numbers in Peru are written in the following formats:

Most telephone numbers in Peru have 8, 9 digits and are written in the format of "A SSS SSSS", "AAA SSS SSS". Here are some examples: 1 517 3500; 1 625 4848; 958 292 927; 915 105 124.

When dialing locally inside Peru, the long distance prefix of "0" is required. So the format becomes "0 A SSS SSSS", "0 AAA SSS SSS".

When dialing from outside of Peru, the international dial-in prefix "+51" is required. So the format becomes "+51 A SSS SSSS", "+51 AAA SSS SSS".

When dialing from Peru to other countries, the international dail-out prefix "+" or "00" required.
