Most phone numbers in China are written in the following formats:

   Prefix: long distance or international

Most telephone numbers in China have 11 digits and are written in the format of "AAA SSSS SSSS". Here are some examples: 755 2345 6789; 731 8522 8790.

When dialing locally inside China, the long distance prefix of "0" is required. So the format becomes "0 AAA SSSS SSSS".

When dialing from outside of China, the international dial-in prefix "+86" is required. So the format becomes "+86 AAA SSSS SSSS".

When dialing from China to other countries, the international dail-out prefix "+" or "00" required.
