What is the Phone Number Format in Tanzania?

Most phone numbers in Tanzania are written in the following formats:

Most telephone numbers in Tanzania have 9, 9 digits and are written in the format of "AA SSS SSSS", "AAA SSS SSS". Here are some examples: 27 250 5980; 22 211 7044; 777 410 114; 756 067 783.

When dialing locally inside Tanzania, the long distance prefix of "0" is required. So the format becomes "0 AA SSS SSSS", "0 AAA SSS SSS".

When dialing from outside of Tanzania, the international dial-in prefix "+255" is required. So the format becomes "+255 AA SSS SSSS", "+255 AAA SSS SSS".
