Most phone numbers in Syria are written in the following formats:

When dialing locally inside Syria, the long distance prefix of "0" is required. So the format becomes "0 AA SSS SSSS".

When dialing from outside of Syria, the international dial-in prefix "+963" is required. So the format becomes "+963 AA SSS SSSS".

When dialing from Syria to other countries, the international dail-out prefix "+" or "00" required.
