Most phone numbers in Mali are written in the following formats:
Prefix: long distance or international -------------------------------------- | Carrier or area code | -------------------- | | Subscriber number | | ----------------- v v v SSSS SSSS - Local format +223 SSSS SSSS - International format
Most telephone numbers in Mali have 8 digits and are written in the format of "SSSS SSSS". Here are some examples: 2020 6562; 7640 9878 .
When dialing locally inside Mali, dial the phone number directly as "SSSS SSSS". Long distance prefix is not needed.
