What is the Phone Number Format in Spain?

Most phone numbers in Spain are written in the following formats:

   Prefix: long distance or international

       AAA SSS SSS      - Local format
  +34  AAA SSS SSS      - International format

Most telephone numbers in Spain have 9 digits and are written in the format of "AAA SSS SSS". Here are some examples: 913 936 060; 676 676 004.

When dialing locally inside Spain, dial the phone number directly as "AAA SSS SSS". Long distance prefix is not needed.

When dialing from outside of Spain, the international dial-in prefix "+34" is required. So the format becomes "+34 AAA SSS SSS".

When dialing from Spain to other countries, the international dail-out prefix "+" or "00" required.
