1. Disable data service when it is not used.

2. Disable data service in a Wi-Fi environment.

3. Use a WAP website instead of a www website.

4. Disable data service: Touch > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks, and then uncheck Data enabled.

5. Disable background data synchronization: Touch > Settings > Accounts & sync and uncheck Background data and Auto-sync.
