What is iCloud Drive?

iCloud Drive is a cloud storage service provided by Apple. With iCloud Drive, you can safely store all your presentations, spreadsheets, PDFs, images, and any other kinds of files in iCloud — and access them from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC.

Main features of iCloud Drive:

• iCloud Drive is free. Any one with an Apple device can apply for an Apple ID and get a 5 GB iCloud Drive service for free.
• iCloud Drive can store any kind of files: photos, videos, documents, etc.
• iCloud Drive can be accessed with many tools and devices: Web browser, iPhone, iPad, Mac, PC, etc.
• iCloud Drive allows you to make changes to documents directly on the fly, so you’ll always have access to the latest version of your documents from any device. For example, you can start creating a Keynote presentation on your Mac at home, then make final edits and present it in office using your iPad.
• iCloud Drive also allows you to share documents between applications on the same device. So you can access and work on the same file across multiple apps.
